Back to reality…

highcross.jpg Have you ever visited a place you’ve never been before and felt like you were home? That’s exactly how my family and I felt in Ireland. We knew it would be beautiful, historic, green, etc., but we had no idea how the country and its people would captivate us and how very difficult it would be to leave.

If time allows, I’ll try to post a few pictures and thoughts about our visit, but I couldn’t let the day go without expressing what a glorious place Ireland is.

Blessings,
David.

Very cool. Garth Brooks once sang a song that said “Ireland, I am coming home”. If it makes you feel any better, he felt the same way when he visited there.

    Aaron,

    Yes, I know the song…

A portion of the lyric that strikes me now is this:

I can see your rolling fields of green
    And fences made of stone
I am reaching out won’t you take my hand
    I’m coming home Ireland

Thanks for reminding me of this song.

    Scotti,

Your words and your poems always bless me. Thanks.

    TTF,

I have not been to the Bahamas, but I look forward to being there someday.

    Blessings to all,

    David.
