Very touching indeed.

There's something special about seeing an older couple walking slowly hand in hand...
Like Jonell, I hope to be like that couple too.

My, my, my David; it's good to see you blogging again!

I want to grow old with my husband (of 23 years) and tell him that often! I want to be that couple you described, and I want to still be holding hands with him when we're 80! :-)

Thanks for sharing this lovely insight!

That's beautiful!

I remember one Sunday morning at church. A woman walked past me and behind me was her husband. They have been married for well over 40 years.

Her eyes lit up and she looked so surprised to see him. She said "Good Morning, Jim!" He said, "Good Morning, Mary!"

They were so comfortable with each other that they had gone through the whole morning getting ready for church and driving there without speaking. Then they suddenly realized that they were meeting each other that morning for the first time!

It's good to see you back blogging too.
