The ol’ blog has been mighty quiet lately. Just haven’t had the time, or in some cases, inspiration, to keep it active and current.
The great Yogi Berra said,
“When you come to a fork in the road, take it!”
That’s kind of where I think I am with this blog. Just not sure what to do with it. Keep it? Change it? Drop it? Not sure.
Stay tuned…

Greetings. It’s a question that all of us ponder and there’s no single answer that fits. I know that I’m here too much at times. Wednesday night, I came home from work and went to check the blog out when the internet explorer wouldn’t work. I went to bed, determined that, if this problem went unresolved for more than a few days, I would delete the whole thing. The explorer problem is resolved, but I still wonder about letting go of a venue that is both a blessing and, at times, a hinderance.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I like the phrase about taking the fork. Have a blessed weekend in Jesus.

I don’t know if I’ve ever replied before, but I do read your site often, and it is encouraging.
My first response is to say, “keep it going” but I’m not in your shoes and I don’t know all that you are involved with at this time. Let me just share with you a quote that has helped me and my brother all of our adult lives …
“For me, the hardest word in the English language is … NO.
I would like to be able to say yes to everyone and everything, but obedience to Christ requires me at times to say NO. Like the gardener pruning the vine, I must constantly trim away unnecessary activities if new life is to spring forth.”
You can check out this blog at my brother’s site at http://vibrance.wordpress.com/2007/09/28/the-value-of-the-word-no/ in order to see more about this. Some of the posts there that are written by Jonell, are by me. I am a contributing author to http://www.vibrance.wordpress.com
I’ll be praying for God to give you wisdom in this decision.

I vote for keep it. You’re on my blog roll, which means that every few days, I read it, and I find this blog to be encouraging, and inspirational.
David, of course you know I’m rooting for keeping Grits and Grace around! I’ve missed you around here lately, but understand how hard it can be to find time for blogging, now that I’m working.
To blog or not to blog?
That my friend, is a question I often ask as well! Ultimately it always comes down to what your heart says, as led by the Spirit of the Lord.
Whatever you choose, please continue to keep in touch. I’m still praying for you and your family and know the Lord has His hand on you.
May you be blessed and filled with the peace of Christ that passes understanding today!
Jesus love, grace and joy to you,
Susan
I so understand about not blogging of late! I am commited to blogging again on both! Maybe not everyday but definitely more often. I have missed all my blogging pals!!
Dave, blog when you feel like saying something. If there’s nothing to say, then, take a break. No worries. Just go play some guitar, keep it real, and something will come to mind.

I hope he added, “be sure to wash it before you use it.”
Well, I for one, would certainly miss you out here in the blogosphere. Of course, you need to follow your heart in the Lord above all things.
God Bless!

David, I’m staying tuned but so far there’s only silence on this frequency…
Know that I’m praying for you and trust all is well! Be blessed and kept in Christ dear brother, and have a wonderful Christmas with your family and friends!
And let me know if by any chance you plan on going to Ireland again… this next year in the autumn, (the Lord willing of course), I will finally get to go “home” and touch the other land of my forefathers! Maybe we’ll see you there?
Jesus love and grace to you,
Susan

Happy New Year, and I for one like your blog. So what ever you do it’s gonna be great. Keep me posted.
You know, I know I don’t really know you, but God brought you to my mind today. I’m not sure why…just thought I’d let you know.
Hi, David,
Thank you so much for your visit. I fully understand how you are feeling. I am sure most of us feel like this at times. I know I have. Hang in there..
Blessings for the new year.
And the fork still lies in the middle of the road; the question unanswered, while we hold our breath and wonder…..
Is David coming back???
